Many people wonder if it is illegal to file share. It can be like most the files shared on P2P (peer-to-peer) networks like KaZaA and Shareza violate copyright law. When you buy a media file it is for your use only. It is illegal to share it even with friends. the online infringement of copyrighted music online can be very serious like up to three years in prison and $250,000 in fines. Stealing music is nothing to play around with. The downloading is not only hurting the musician and the industry, but also the store that buys the Cd's to sell.

A & M record's Vs. Napster

This case involves A & M records against Napster in 2001. Napster was providing free file sharing songs of all genres new and old. The type of work was the sharing of music files. The result of these actions were closing of Napster in 2002. Napster was also responsible for paying back music Labels and musicians.

Jamaica country project.

I did my research on Jamaica. My favorite part of this project was reviewing my fun memories in Jamaica. My least favorite part was presenting the information. Sadly I did not learn anything new about the country. It was difficult to find current information while researching. My strong points in my presentation was definitely being comfortable in front of the class. The weak points were speed. I would suggest for the class to do something that interests them the most.

My Year in review!

The highlight of 2011 was getting more fame in the rap industry. The low point of 2011 was going to Bedford school district. I could have enrolled in a different school in Toledo. My goals for 2012 is to be a signed rapper at a major record label. If Iwas given $100,000 I would move to Toledo, rebuild my recording studio, and promote my rapping career.
